The Runaway mine cart arresting system deploys high-precision sensors to synchronize with the winch control signals, enable real-time mine cart position tracking. The crash barrier maintains a “normally closed” safety state. Upon detecing the emergency circumstance of rope breakage or coupling failure, the system immediately activates energy-absorbing buffers to arrest the runaway mine carts.
